Clean Safe Partnership and Training43 will be exhibiting Competency Checker and highlighting NVQ Level 2 at the forthcoming Windex Exhibition, Ricoh Arena, Coventry. Stand B2, 18th–19th March 2010.

Windex 2010 is all about products and services of interest to the window cleaning industry, and forward-looking Clean Safe has both! Clean Safe will use this year’s Windex Exhibition opportunity to focus on Competency Checker – the 21st Century way of ensuring staff are fully competent – and to highlight the excellent value provided by Impact43 and its City and Guilds NVQ Level 2 Window Cleaning Funding.

David Willis of Impact43 said: ‘We feel 2010 is set to be an exciting year for both Impact43 and the Clean Safe Partnership. At Windex, we are officially launching Competency Checker, an innovative free service that allows property owners and management companies to check window cleaners’ competency. But that isn’t all. Everyone at Impact43 are excited about the continuing success of the Government Funded City and Guilds Qualification. This is providing a much-needed boost for the Window Cleaning Industry – and demonstrating that window cleaning is a true profession. NVQ Level 2 enables companies to offer funded training leading towards a recognised industry qualification for the first time.’

The Clean Safe Partnership will also use the Windex event to launch a number of training programmes. Amongst these will be Emergency First Aid at Work for Window Cleaners (including Suspension Trauma Recovery) This covering First aid management for harness suspension when working at height.
